Can't Read Music.....Help
Ok I don't know the theory in most all of what I play but I lover fingerstyle, tabs and know a lot of chords BUT I need a little help with a few chords in a song I am learning. The song sounds fine without them but I'd like to play it right. They are- E/A, A/D and E/G#. Also, is A/D the same thing as D/A and what's a good source(on the net maybe) to look this kind of stuff up? Thanks a bunch

E/A= X02100 or AEG#Be A/D=XX0220 or DAC#E E/G#=422100 or G#BEG#be (must be an easier version of this one, maybe 446454) A/D is not the same as D/A, A/D has a D in the base, D/A has an A in the base with fingering X00232 with gives ADadF# I hope that helps. Those are "slash chords" and are often used to bridge transitions between other chords. For example, that well-known intro-verse riff in Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide" reads:
C x32010 G/B x20033 Am7 x02010 G/B x20033 ....taking the bassline from C to A and then back up.
