Default Spilled a glass of wine on my X10

While in conversation with my son, full glass of wine in my left hand, I grabbed guitar stand holding X10 by neck with right hand to move it out of way (don't do that!). Gravity caused guitar and stand to swing pitching X10 off stand. I reached out with left hand to grab guitar but there was a glass in my hand pouring it's contents on guitar as it crashed to the floor. My dog Wilma pitched in with cleanup by licking the wine off the guitar. I wiped guitar off with cloth, put it back on stand, refilled my glass and continued conversation. All was good.

I think the relevant issue here is: what vintage wine? Can you smell the smoked oak now on your guitar? Is the tone more fruity?

What kind of top notes did you get?

Where there notes of citrus with a base of rich dark currants, nectarine skins, gushing blackberry, but lots of fragrant tobacco, rich soil, white flowers, smashed minerals and metal? Do you now find your Emerald saucy and medium-bodied particularly when chording?

That answers the pressing question of which wine pairs with the X-10. Red it is.

Maybe you better hide the wine.

Glad your guitar survived. It's amazing it wasn't sticky!
