Rob - Welcome to the AGF! What guitar do you play? Do you play only classical/flamingo or do you also play acoustic?
You have a great week-end too. |

Thanks Dru; I only play that sorta guitar (nylon)--I really like the sound of some steel strung guitars, but have this thing about their necks and fingerboards, am used to a bit wider string spacing. So as far as those it's mostly listening to and appreciating. For fun--if there's one around--sure thing. Tried an electric a few times too. Seemed like a completely different animal.

Me too! I have always loved blues and jazz, especially archtop players like Kenny Burrell, Jimmy Raney, Joe Pass, etc. but have never really gotten proficient at making the changes.
Welcome to the AGF. Great place to hang out! Looking forward to reading your posts. Best regards, Darryl

Thank you Darryl, Ryler, and Larry
Larry--aw shucks--nice! Labas!! Darryl: yeah! I really like those guys. I listened to lots of Joe Pass' playing with other people for a long time, and just recently realized that he has a ton of solo recordings. As in solo, no band. Cool |
