You'd be doing more than guitar work there, I'd guess... (Lathes...)

I have limited space in my home shop so I've made some sacrifices in tool selection. For my guitar projects it seems to work well. I do enjoy having a "clean" room separate from most of the dust producing tools. Although retired as a carpenter I do get sucked into a few construction related projects fro time to time so my space is multi use.

Yep, theres also a milling machine in the corner that you cannot see in that photo, we make bridges, pins, saddles etc, add into that machining other types of instruments for repair, and you have an interesting day to say the least

Well I spent hours and hours in the shop today reclaiming it. Not done but a lot closer than I have been in 3 years+
All of the stuff on the 2) out of 3) 8' shelves I put up today was on my work benches. Other angles still need work but here is a sneak peek. Neil is likely raised eyebrows about now!

Big new resaw for cuttin gets from planks...

Big dust collector to clean up after it...

Rack for acclimating upcoming projects...

Tablesaw...

Mounted on heavy duty drawer sliders for when it gets used, ducted into the collector line...

Shelf for completed bodies, above all things so nothing can fall on them...

Main workbench with collapsible extension...

Secondary bench with storage slots underneath for guitars in molds, and the neck carving vise.

Secondary bandsaw for cutting out tops, neck work etc...

Homemade edge sander...

Drawers for brace stock and other things...

Covered with a thick layer of shop mats since I stand in there for so many hours...

Took nearly ten months of plugging away at it while still trying to keep the ball rolling to get it done, but I'm well pleased...

Tinker nice shop! A magnetic strip like you have is next. When I saw what caster wheels with brakes cost I am waiting for spring flea markets to score those! Stuck with dragging a shop vac around for the vac system for now. I'd love a built in system but it would eat most of my shop space.
