I've played this guitar at the store. On everyone of his guitars I have seen the craftsmanship is tops and easy to play. The sound port I'm sure helps but this has a very warm tone with a strong low end, especially for a Spruce top guitar.
It's been there for a long time, suspect since he quit building guitars, so I think an offer would be seriously entertained.
