Default Yikes, the humidity this time of year

My de-humidifier is pulling ten gallons of water out of a small room per day now, down here in the south it is bad. The air is thick.

Don't you run your AC? I'm in South Florida, and with the AC running in the summer, the humidity is always around 50% in my place.

Nope, I can't afford to run it, my life is a riches to rags story. Not complaining just it is what it is. Plus we are under another tornado watch until 7, really humid.
