Default Daves Guitars in Wisconsin?

Perusing a few sites this afternoon and saw a couple of particularly handsome standard series Martins on Dave's website. I don't see them in the sponsor directory, but they do have a nice selection. Anyone ever purchased and had a guitar shipped from them? Would be interested in any feedback.

Anybody with a 1923 Lloyd Loar F5 mandolin priced at $150,000 that includes an "add to cart" button has to be OK.

My OM-45TB came from Daves (a $14K Martin back in 2005), they have some serious inventory FWIW, never heard anything bad...........

As a lefty, Dave's has one of the better selections West of Cincinnati and North of Houston. They have always worked with me in trades that I felt were worth my exchanges, and have always given me competitive quotes for stuff I have ordered. Dave has quite the collection. If you get a chance to look around, it's amazing.

Dave's is one of the best mail-order guitar shops around, for both used or new. I've purchased from them a number of times, and the few times I've needed some support, they were great to deal with.

I usually deal with Laun Braithwaite there, but the others are fine too.

I just bought a guitar from them and it is on the truck knocking down the 1,170 miles between us. "Film at eleven." They've been really good to deal with so far, though.

If I'm not mistaken, Dave's Guitars used to be Guitar Adoptions.

Bought a cheap used guitar from them last year; they were very courteous and good to work with. Would recommend them as a place to purchase from.

They are great to deal with. I feel they are stronger with electrics. I purchased two PRS electrics from Tylor at the store. I believe they also sell Collings a nd a large assortment of used acoustics.

When looking for a PRS Hollowbody II, they had the best selection and reasonable pricing.

I've purchased two guitars from them. Everything seemed to be as described and copacetic.

The one thing I don't like is - they ship the box full of foam peanuts - argh... can't get the guitar out without the stuff going everywhere

madhat.
