Default Kevin Michael / Mcpherson Sable Guitar

Mcpherson just launched the new CF Sable guitar:

http://kevinmichaelguitars.com/specs/

It looks like a full sized camrielle to me, except in carbon fibre. Looks awesome! I have played 7-8 Tourings and they have a lovely consistent tone. So am really looking forward to this full sized offering from Mcpherson.

If anyone is at Namm and had a chance alrrady to try the Sable, I would love to hear your thoughts!

Had some time with the Sable, as expected from McPherson, fit and finish are top notch, as is the tone, which definitely does not sound like carbon fiber. I think with the KM McPherson, it's all about the tone. This guitar will appeal to folks looking for a wood guitar they can take anywhere. The price will be just under $3000 street, which is up there, but not that much more than premium models from other builders. Folks looking for the tone will have no problem with the price IMO.

We should have them in the store in the coming weeks, as will other dealers, so you will no doubt read many reviews here, and I think they will be positive. I'm definitely looking forward to playing it along side some of my favorite wood guitars.

Anybody else noticed that there are 2 different sizes?

The one in the middle seems to be the Sable which has a 15" lower bout while the ones on the left and right seem slightly bigger at 16" maybe (similar to a MG).

To confirm, there is only one full size guitar being built by MePherson.

Do other current carbon fiber guitars have a sound that separates them so distinctly from other guitars? Please explain.

Default Sable Model

I am elated to see the Kevin Michael Sable model. Does anyone know when this model will be available for purchase. If it is available - where?

From the video the bracing is Nomex, used by innovative wood luthiers. Any other CF builder using this?
