Default Kerry Char L-00 Brazilian w/ German spruce $3000

Once again I offer a beautiful L-00 style guitar built by Kerry Char of Portland Oregon. The guitar is just back from Kerry's shop where he reset the neck and installed a new bridge to make the string spacing wider, from 2 & 1/4 to 2 & 5/16 inches.

What more could you ask for; German spruce top with sides and back of Brazilian rosewood. The guitar has a vibrant, shimmering, well balanced Brazilian Rosewood tone with smooth playability and lots of tonal personality for blues and fingerstyle. The tobacco burst German Spruce top is particularly gorgeous. I can provide more photos.

Price is 3000 dollars plus shipping and insurance. Price is firm. No trades. You wont find a better luthier-made instrument (old growth straight grain Brazilian rosewood on back and sides) at anywhere near this price. The guitar ships from College Station Texas.

Comes with a really cool faux alligator hard shell case and a protective case cover.

You can see and hear the guitar played by Al Pettiway on you tube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=ONj-Ki1x4c4.

Here are the specs:

Back/Sides: Brazilian Rosewood
Top Wood: German Spruce

Default Brazilian with German spruce top for $3000? Really!

I am offering this Char guitar for sale. Here's some bio information from Kerry Char's website for those who don't know his highly regarded luthier skills.

Specializing in the repair and restoration of vintage and classic stringed instruments he brings a meticulous care to each project, understanding the unique story and value that such instruments carry. It is also this work that inspires his custom production, which is reflected in the bespoke guitars and ukuleles he makes."

Here is a review of his work posted on Yelp: "I'd give Kerry Char a hundred stars if I could. Kerry truly is a local treasure. He has mad skills--any musician would do well to utilize this resource. He's a first-rate builder of high end acoustic instruments. I own two of his guitars, and they are wonderful "
