OK as it is, add a glossy finish and I'd like it. The bigger issue, however, hasn't been addressed. How does it play and sound ?

I like it. I think the rosette is perfect for the guitar.
If it sounds good, I like it more. If it has a great story, I like it more still. If Neil Young plays it, I love it. If EC signs the label and it is sold at GC, it is a bold new statement and they'll be gone before I get one. I think that what is acceptable in an acoustic guitar is very narrow for most.

For some reason it reminds me of a huge and very cheesy wagon wheel coffee table my aunt had when I was growing up. Is that even real wood? It looks like plastic, with an exaggerated wood grain mold...
