Most of my recent (20 years) guitars have pages of their own on my website.

Many of these pages have links to sound clips.

There is a list of my guitars with inks to their pages, when they have one, at TheList. TheList is color-coded for the guitar's status, red meaning it is available. If I own it, it says so in the right hand column. A short-cut to the list is located on my site's main page; simply click my logo in the upper left hand corner of the page.

I also have a page devoted to my personal inventory of available work, called "inventory".

There is also a page devoted to the sound clips themselves called MyBigGig, though some of the links seem to have broken somehow.

And, to save you any further trouble, HERE is a link to the Pear clip. I make all my own clips, and I can be a sloppy player, which is why I am a luthier professionally. But I love to play, and I believe these clips are good enough to give the listener a sense of each guitar's tone and balance, so there they are!

I played the 2 guitars that Bruce had at Woodstock, and they were the first guitars of his I have had the chance to play. After playing them both, I feel that Bruce is in the company of a handful of Luthiers that are creating some of the best sounding and playing guitars today. I really liked the pear a lot, but I kept on being drawn to the Brazilian/ Italian FT-15 that he recently built. In fact, I probably took it down to a listening room 3-4 times during the show.( yes, this is me, Bruce, Bruce. ) It is also an amazingly beautiful playing, looking and sounding guitar.
Congratulations on your honor. You definitely deserve it.

Default Congratulations

I spent some time playing that Pear guitar and can echo what has been said about it. It was definitely my favorite of those that I played at Woodstock. From the first note, it felt special and I don't think I have ever played so well or sounded as good. If it had not been a cutaway and it had been within my pocketbook, he would not have flown home with it. It will always haunt me.

What a great honor Bruce, and very well deserved. The Pear is a fantastic guitar, but it is far from unique - personal experience has shown that anyone would be hard pressed to find a Sexauer that isn't mighty fine -

Congrats to Bruce.

I remember seeing the guitar in it's creation, and it looked like it was going to be very special indeed...
