Default GS Mini Neck

Anyone else find the GS Mini neck to just feel really small? When I switch between my 314 and GS Mini, and I wrap my hand around the Mini neck, it just feels small and my fingers all bunch up. I have to be more careful not to touch multiple strings with one finger.

Do I just need more time to get adjusted to the switch, or would I be better off selling the Mini?

Yep it's certainly a change from the standard 1 3/4. But they are fun little guitars and it wouldn't stop me buying one as a travel guitar.

This discussion has been beat to death, but I'll still comment. I sold my Mini for the reasons the OP mentions, missed it, bought another, sold it again for the same reasons. I'm a slow learner.

Surely only you can decide if you want to keep it or sell it on? Personally, I have no problem switching

If the neck is just a little too narrow for your fingers, maybe you can adjust. But what you describe is likely too narrow to ever find comfort. And the longer you play the more likely your hand will cramp.

I would suggest turning it in and getting an A&L Ami. Great small guitar and half the price. Slightly narrower than 1 3/4, but felt like a freeway in comparison to me. Wechter also makes a fine parlor at that more appropriate price point.

Yes it's not the normal Taylor flat wide neck. . . , that's why I like it
