Default Timber Tone wooden picks

I bought a pack of santos rosewood Timber Tone picks today. They are definately not for me and my style (bluegrass) but they are beautiful. They had lots of different woods available. I can see jazz players liking them for the fat tones. I like the feel in the hand with the wax and oil finish, but hated the sound. Anybody else use them and love the tone?

I use them too, couldnt go back to plastic picks after trying them. I find they sound the best when I play with only a bit of the pic exposed - so my fingers are almost touching the strings.

I use wooden picks for jazz, they seem to work well with archtops.
