Absolutely, Paikon.

Welcome aboard the Good Ship Dermot.

You're just in time for the annual CoM "CircumEire Cruise". A grand time shall be had by all. From Bantry Bay up to Derry Quay.

And Happy St. Paddy's Day to the entire CoM membership!

Default Getting into a Mcilroy

Just a question for the experts....

What's the best way to get into a Mcilroy Guitar?

I'm wanting to try the Walnut/Cedar combo and it seems to be the most prolific of the models in the AGF/COM world

Should I keep holding out and hoping for a Used Guitar to surface or bite the bullet and Order my own?

Thanks

ce

If you come to Ireland for a holiday you can try mine! I would also highly recommend Ciaran McNally guitars from Belfast.
Best regards,
Malcolm

Hush,

the best way I know is to either buy the remaining Mcilroy on Paramount's website or ask one of the COM members if they'd like to sell one of theirs. Once in a while they pop up in the classifieds, but it seems to be feast or famine.

I don't believe Dermott is currently taking new orders due to back log, but I may be wrong

Steve

I just bought one from Kieran Maloney, of Maloney Music in Galway, Ireland. Shipping was very reasonable and it took a week to get here. He has several in stock and new ones coming in every month. His prices are also better than Paramount by a considerable margin and there is no three year wait.

Default Input

Thanks for the input, guys.

I checked out both of the aforementioned resources and they don't seem to have the model that I would prefer in stock.

Malcom, if I come to Ireland any time soon, I will definitely take you up on the offer. I will check out Ciaran McNally as well .

Thanks All.

Default Can I join up ?

I have had my AS25 (No 556) for about two and a half years now and it's fabulous.

I v'e had a few Lowden's and it was choice between an S23 and the AS25 which turned out to be no contest really.

Truly great guitars.

Hello Cultists,
I would formally request membership in your religious cult. I have purchased # 219 a A30c from agfbot. Well about two weeks ago I started shopping for a cheap guitar to keep in my office to practice on. Some how I saw the name Mcilroy and thought that must be Irish. So, knowing that everything Irish is just a little bit better,I looked him up on the Internet and found a whole new world! Well to make a long story longer, I could only find one available in the US, so after some negotiation I purchased# 219. As I am a new guitar player I had no idea what a fantastic guitar this would be.As I already own a Martin I thought ,how much better can it get? Apparently a lot better. So , any good cult ought to have some koolaid don't you think?
Respectfully submitted,
Pemco

Hi

The Grey Picker has owned a wonderful A25c for the past three years. I would love to be an owner member of this august group.
