Default NRD - new resonator day!

MM Blues 28 - a wooden bodied single cone resonator, quite light - compared with my steel bodied resonators. Nice low action, lovely sound, great for finger style and slide. I've also got a Michael Messer Blues single cone steel bodied resonator, which is also wonderful. Louisiana Red gigged with a Michael Messer Blues single cone steel bodied resonator. Both highly recommended.

I used to go to his site quite a bit years ago. Super knowledgeable, patient, and not shy about telling the truth.

Import resonators are all about the inspection and setup before delivery. Michael has too much of a reputation (based on a great work ethic to begin with) to mess it up by being lazy. They are THE way to go in Europe if you don't want to spend a fortune!

Congrats! Having wood and steel in your arsenal is great. For metals I'm more a brass guy, but I do love my wood single cone.
