■ SOLD - Eastman AC712 (000-28 custom clone) - $625 Price Drop
This is Eastman's premium variation of a vintage-style 000-28 with slot head and custom-grade details. Photos viewable at: http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/msg/5933119811.html
Specifics and variations: 000/OM size body All solid Englemann spruce & rosewood Nitrocellulose lacquer finish Multi-layer wood bindings and and other trim at body and neck Bone nut & saddle Scalloped forward X-bracing neck: 14-fret, 1-3/4" nut, 24.9" scale - Includes original case This early-2000's slot head AC712 model has been discontinued and was not one of their more common models, but you may be able to find some info on the net. Reviews are all excellent. Tone is similar to what you would expect of a good vintage-style 000-28: warm and slightly compressed with rich overtones. Upscale wood finish bindings and other details. Real nice action and playability. These usually go for about $850 used (were about $1250 new when they were available). I'm selling this for less due to minor cosmetic flaws - a finish check and some excess glue behind the bridge due to a loose bridge that is now solid. While these are hard to see in the photos or notice in real life, I've lined up the finish check in the last photo between the 1st string pin and the lower right corner to help locate it. Overall, it's a very good 000/OM/concert size guitar in nice shape at a bargain price. PM is good, email is quicker: [email protected] If you wish to make an offer, please include the usual details. Another fine model from Eastman, how nice those specs are.

Agree - while all nice guitars have their individual "magic", the combination of Englemann, scalloping, scale and a touch extra body depth seems to help make this one sweet. Not to shabby to look at either.
