I'm not a uke or harp guitar guy, but I listened to the clips and the harp uke sounds pretty good to me. I didn't find a clip of a proper song being played, so I'm not entirely sure. Having said this, I have heard many clips of various Emeralds, and I own a Chimaera 6/12 doubleneck. I am very impressed with Emerald's designs, playability and tones. Imo, by far, Emerald is the most innovative and flexible builder of any medium. It seems they are willing to offer customs of just about anything a customer may want, and in the scheme of things, at a reasonable price. I have no idea if this is a production model or a one-off. Someone here may know, or fire-off an email to Alistair or Sean.

I am hoping that one of these becomes featured in an Emerald road trip. It seems to me that Emerald could be two companies; one that produces innovative one-offs, one that produces those one-offs that receive widespread demand.

If he made one, I'm sure he still has the mold and could create another one.

Write him and I'm sure he'll get back to you.

Hi Daryl,

Thank you for your interest, this was the older version of the Synergy Uke, but we have actually redesigned it and we will be revealing it shortly!

Best Wishes

Thanks, Sean! Looking forward to this. The sound clips sounded great and the instrument is cool looking. That's something different that I would like to add to my collection. Please keep us posted.

Hey guys,

As promised, we are happy to give you a first look our newly re-designed Synergy Uke.

Our first design of the Synergy Uke was a great success, but as Alistair re-evaluated it he decided there was lots of room for improvement and so he spent the last few months redesigning it - this is the final result and finally a proper production model of the Synergy Uke will be launched very soon.

Best Wishes

Sean

Looks awesome. I'm a sucker for obscure looking instruments.

That's pretty sweet. This is an interesting instrument and I like seeing Emerald advancing the concept.

Hi Daryl,

We are actually completing the very first new Synergy Uke this week and then we will be determining the price, so we will be able to announce this very shortly! There is so much exciting stuff happening here at the moment, which we can't wait to tell you more about!!

Best Wishes

Sean
