Default Back In Black

Sold a bunch of gear over the past couple of months to raise some cash and lighten the load in anticipation of a moving to the D.C. area - three electrics, one acoustic and one amp. But as they say, the best laid plans of mice and men.....I ran across these and could not walk away. A G&L Broadcaster (assembled 2-13-86) and 1986 maple body/plastic scratchplate ASAT. Would have been a shame to break up siblings.

Gorgeous guitars!

But watch out man... G&Ls are a sickness.

Here are a couple pics of mine.

Cheers,
Chris

Yeah, Z-Woof, it would be a shame to separate the pair. Very cool score. Last spring, I visited Go Go Guitars in Long Beach, CA and tried out some G&L ASAT Specials and Legacy Specials. What sweet guitars. No offense to Fender intended. I don't know what it is about 'em but G&Ls seem really solid to me and have that edge to 'em. Those twin, rectangular high-output single coils are really something on the ASAT Specials, not to mention those dual blades and single power blade humbucking pickup configuration on the Legacy Specials. Whew, after I plugged 'em into a Dr. Z Maz-18 1x12 tube amp, I was even more blown away. Best regards....Kabookie

Nice pair of G&L's! Here are two of my 80's era G&L's. The black one is an '86 Broadcaster, and the natural guitar is an '87 Asat.

Nice pair of G&L's! Do you have any additional photos of the bass? That's quite a LOOKER!
