Balor, is it? Well, that's pretty dark. What, were Voldemort and Sauron taken already? Lol

Hey guys,

Yes, our new acoustic bass is out now and it's called the Balor Bass. Hopefully in the coming months you will be seeing a lot more of it! We have built and sent out a few already and have several on order, too! So we will have lots of news coming on the Balor! Uncle Pauhana, from what I understand, JRR Tolkien actually read a lot of Celtic mythology while writing Lord Of The Rings

Best Wishes

Sean

Hello everyone,

One of the first new Balor basses is going on UK tour this week. James Blennerhassett, a well-known Irish session musician will be touring with Irish singer Daniel O'Donnell. He will also be heading Stateside in October, if any of your guys are interested in seeing our new acoustic bass live.

Here is a link to our latest blog on the Balor http://emeraldguitars.com/2016/09/06...niel-odonnell/

Best Wishes

Sean

I've been working with Sean on my Balor five string build, and he sent me the following pic of a blue four they just completed.

So HeavyDuty, now you need four Balors, right?

One each of 4-string fretted, 4-string fretless, 5-string fretted, and 5-string fretless... that should cover it.

Nah, I moved on from fours years ago - the only ones I still have are sentimental. Now, a fretted and a fretless five...

Oh, well if you only need two new Emeralds, no problem.

It looks like a LR Baggs Element VTC is a strong possibility for my bass...

Wow, that may be the most amazing piece of quilt I've ever seen!

I can't wait to see the finished Balor and get your impressions.
