Default This one's for Gibson JXX players. . . or for you

If you've played a J45 AND also a J35, 15, 29, 50, etc., is there something about those that you may find better than J45 or something those do that the J45 doesn't?

I've owned a J-35 and a J-45. I found the J-35 to be a little livelier, a tad brighter, and a tad louder than the J-45, but with plenty of "thump." I liked how the chimy-er trebles blended with the strong mids. The tone seemed to be a little more multi-dimensional.

Keep in mind that the differences were not profound, and that this was one J-35 sample compared to one J-45 sample, according to the subjectivity of my own ears and preferences at the time.
