Default I’ve been watching TJ Hooker on FETV for the past week..

Yes, cheesy lines, easy to figure plots, pretty Cali girls, big hair, the 1980’s cars...

I watch it for that fun 1980’s Southern California feel and vibe. I’ve spent so much time in Southern California in the past 35 years it’s fun to sit back and just look at the scenery and reminisce and see how things have changed.

So, join me tonight..10pm est.

I prefer more intelligent fare. Carol Burnett is on at 10 on METV here.

Love watching those ridiculous old shows. TJ being one of the silliest of them all.

I’ve just re-begun binge watching Rockford Files. All the above appeal plus seeing young actors in bit parts....

Having been in law enforcement for 25 years, I can say that "T.J. Hooker" had the worst police procedure of any cop show. Enjoy the old cars though. "Barney Miller" was more realistic. "NYPD Blue" was probably the best cop show ever, followed by "Hill Street Blues", both from Stephen Bochco.

Ok as a child of the late 70's, early 80's I have to chime in. My father did not enjoy watching movies (he said a waste of time), but one great memory of him I do have is Sanford & Son after our local evening news every weekday.

He and I would share laughs together and then it was usually off to my room to listen to David Grisman quintet on my Pioneer stereo and those beautiful HPM 100 speakers (yes I still have them AND they are still working)

Yes those were the good ole' days.
