My impression is that Rainsong makes a batch and does not do custom work. When I saw the marine burst Parlor I checked around and found very few. Ted will be probably be your best source of info--I'll be interested in what you find.

I also wonder how those color finishes will wear over time.

I have a white Cargo that I've had for about a year--it is holding up very nicely. As far as the long term...???

Hey guys,
The pewter color pictured has been discontinued, and Evan is correct that Rainsong does not accept custom orders. The Marine Burst and Tobacco Burst are available as an option on any model though. As to durability, you can expect the solid colors to be as durable as the clear gloss finish, quite durable. |

Nice! I hadn't seen a silver one with the abalone rosette before. That must be a custom. I think these would look really great with white binding around the body/neck, also.

Not a custom, JR, the guitar pictured is a standard OM1000N2 with the discontinued pewter finish. The finish was available on all models, including the deluxe series shown with full Abalone inlays.
And yes, binding, even Abalone trim around the body would look really cool. |

Sharp guitar! I believe I saw that very model listed on ebay under "rainsong om" a few days ago. The solid colors were recently discontinued so it is possible that some dealers still have a few. Good luck,
