If I see a used looper like a TC Ditto pop up on Craigslist, I'll probably snag it for a practice tool. Aside from that, I'm pretty good.
Now if I win the lottery, that's different. An early 80s original JCM800 50W will be hunted down.

After finding my sons Mexican Strat I am beginning to warm up to a Strat for the first time. If playing it more gets me feeling good about a Strat, I might get a nice American one. At this point though, I don’t think any Strat will ever take the place of my wonderful Les Paul. Other than that, thanks to some help from folks on this forum, I think my collection of amps and pedals is where I want it to be.

I have too much of everything. But that's never stopped me before...I'm a sucker for the latest and greatest. Having said that, I think I'd like to buy a good bass. I rarely play bass these days, but I'd like to start using one on my recording projects. I used to be a bass player back in the '80s, and I've still got my old Ampeg B25B bass head (old? it was old in the '80s, lol) with a single 15" cabinet. I haven't delved into the bass world in a long time, so it'll be fun testing a few.

I've just bought a Marshall Code 25 modelling amp which is ok but I'm gassing for a fender champ valve amp which I'm hoping to build myself from a kit.

OK, Merry Christmas to me. This thread pushed me to buy a replacement neck from Warmoth, rather than try to re-fret my original Strat neck. It won't be an exact replacement - slightly larger fingerboard radius (9" vs. 7.25"), ebony instead of maple, stainless frets and TUSQ nut, but if I really don't like it for some reason, I can still get my original neck re-fretted later, and meanwhile still have an electric guitar to play.

This'll be my first experience with Warmoth necks, but I've heard good things. I do wish they sold a 3-bolt neck with the vintage 7.25" radius, though, that's the only thing I'm not sure if I'll grow to love, just because I've been playing a 7.25" radius for so many years. But that's not a huge difference, and the widths at the nut and heel are the same, so the string spacing will be the same too.

My gear is in a state of flux right now. I currently have some stuff on Craigslist.
I sold off my 2 tube amps that I was not happy with - Laney Cub 10 (dark and ratty tone - never cared for it much) and a Champion 600 RI (no cleans and too boxy). My next purchase will be a 10-15 watt tube amp w/reverb. Blues Jr and Carvin V16 are in the mix right now.
