Default Loudbox mini is dead

So, I go to turn on my Loudbox mini tonight to soundcheck a few things. I rarely use the thing, it sits here in my den most of the time. My daughters use it occasionally to plug a mic in and pretend they're some pop star or whatever. But tonight the mini doesn't work. It powers up, makes a sound when the switch is turned on. But the power light doesn't come on and both the instrument and mic channel don't work. Any clues as to what might be the issue?

None here, but I hope you've contacted Fishman -- they're notorious for excellent customer service. Good luck!

Hi MMcG…

There is a fuse in the power cable receptacle on the amp. Perhaps that?

Was thinking a fuse. Self repairable?

I'm sure it is.

Check the manual.

Curious to see how this one turns out.

Hope it's just a fuse.

I was thinking very seriously of buying a Fishman Mini for small gigs.

Need something I can carry with one hand while I carry my guitar with the other...especially up and down stairs.

Hopefully, this isn't your problem... My teenage stepson was allowed to use my gear, he's a pretty good guitar player, but inexperienced with amps. Just messing around, he took a cable and looped the extension speaker out to one of the inputs, just to see what it would do.
