Default A Pic (or two) for Todd

Todd has been complimentary about our slot heads in the past, and here's hoping that hasn't changed.
Todd, I thought about you while doing this guitar, and thought you might like it.
Kauri/Maple neck shaft, spalted maple overlay, Alessi tuners.

Hope all is well, and thanks for looking,

Steve

Thank you Chuck. We've been really busy building our new shop, but that is finally slowing to its welcome conclusion. We'll try to post a bit more in the future.

That headstock is beautiful, Steve. Love the shape of it, and your classy appointments. The Alessi tuners are dazzling.
I hope you will tell us more about this new shop. Maybe some photos? Maybe a whole thread about it, when you get it up to speed and turning out those brilliant guitars you and Ryan make...?
One of my favorite things about this forum is getting to see the shops of other luthiers.
Best of luck with everything!

Hey thanks, Steve, much appreciated. Aren't those Alessi tuners sweet?
These are smooth as butter...as functional as they are beautiful.

Shop--perhaps I should put some pics up. But we still have to install the moat, drawbridge and turrets. But as soon as that's done, we'll show some shots.

That headstock is about as pretty as it gets. I'd love to see more of the guitar!

Just seeing this buddy - yes, this is out of the park for sure!

Thanks for thinking of me and keep building those fantastic looking (and sounding) guitars!

Default Some pics for Stan

Stan, thanks for the further interest!
Here's a few for you.
First, the rosette--spalted maple/Paua:

And then the tail wedge, more spalted maple:

Finally, the heel cap, made of--what else?--spalted maple:

Thanks,

Steve

The spalted maple + the alessi tuners = perfect match! They just work so well togheter.

I really like your head design aswell, Steve. Keep up the good work and keep us updated with more beautiful pictures
