Build Thread: Charis Walnut Engelmann SJ
I'm building this Walnut Engelmann guitar as shop stock. This is a stunning set of Walnut and I personally enjoy the combination of Walnut and Engelmann Spruce. I'm putting a short scale neck on this one. It should be the kind of guitar you want to pickup just to relax after a long day.
There are a few additional photos and a short video of some of the rosette work on my Facebook page. Specs: Claro Walnut / Engelmann Spruce / Venetian Cutaway Macassar Ebony binding, sound port and arm bevel Tiled Rosette Ebony fingerboard, head plate and bridge. Wood Weyman Vine inlay on head plate and fingerboard.

Breathtaking, gorgeous, lovely guitar, Bill! As usual!
Even though also I build guitars for a living, I still wish I could afford to own guitars built by other luthiers whose work I admire. I have as much GAS as the next guy! A Charis guitar would be an absolute MUST on my list. Charis = Grace. Your guitars are so well named!
