Every time I look at a Bashkin guitar, a word that pops into my head is, "Lyrical". Bashkin guitars look lyrical. And musical! I just love the design elements- modern and tasteful throughout, and I can't help but smile when I look at the body shape, the bridge, the headstock, the sound port, and all the decorative details. Everything comes together in a way that just looks GLAD, and HIGH-SPIRITED. You know what I mean? Some guitars look so...serious...staid...formal...
Michael's guitars look like they're having the time of their lives!

Being a luthier myself, I get to experience about a dozen brand-new guitars every year, and you would think that GAS wouldn't be a problem for me. But when I see a Bashkin guitar, I WANT ONE!

Mike, gonna have to skip seeing it this time around. I'm about to buy the biz I've been managing for the past three years. So a lot of extra hours and debt are in my immediate future that I wasn't expecting six months ago. You're going to have to see this incredibly beautiful Bashkin without me bro.

But hopefully this change of job status from minion to grand poobah will allow me in time to get that "other" Bashkin that I've lusted for, for way too long. Then there will just be the problem of finding time to play it.

what an amazing looking piece of art! If it ever stops snowing, (yes, it snowed the last couple days) I plan on going down and visiting with Michael and hopefully I can see this beauty.

Congrats again on such a fine guitar that will sound even better than it looks!!

So do I...will get the guitar around end June will do a follow up post once I have a chance to play it. It's been a very interesting experience and Michael has been great. Only one decision left to make... Hoffee or Ameritage.

Jay - good luck on your new business. Hope to see your own bashkin build thread soon.

Mike - do share your impressions if you get a chance to visit michaels shop

All the heavy lifting is done and she's some kind of beauty. Wow! Hoffee would be my choice. Huge congrats, know you'll be very happy!

I don't regret getting the Hoffee. It's a very good investment and great protection let alone the peace of mind you get.

Amazing guitar. I'm surprised to see so many multi-scale acoustics here.
