My wife and kids abandoned me for the South Jersey shore Thursday night. I am at home with our new 11week old puppy who can't travel until his next round of shots. So, a couple of chores, a bit of playing and lots of puppy play!

I'm on call and my wife's recovering from surgery but it's off to a good start.
The brothers I report to put on a fundraiser that's become a huge fest. George Clinton headlined last night. It was an incredibly good show. An extremely talented 17 member band that nailed it as far as in the pocket, in tune, the singing, dancing and theatrics.  At the moment it's wondering if I have to do site visit for a TELCO problem and family stuff.

Packing.........Wife and I are moving from NYC to Asheville NC towards the end of June. We have years of stuff to go through. Trying to convince her to throw most of it out, but that plan is not working. Gotta go with the flow on this one.

Well, change of plans...
Brother just called. Said Grand Funk Railroad is playing tonight at the Hollywood Casino. Haven't seen them since 1973! They start at 9. I'll send some pics!

Sunday afternoon here.
A big cloud day, went for a walk to the nearby beach to take some shots. These guys turned up.

Yesterday we did the sea trials on our boat after a re-power and total refit. Today, we play on the water. Going snorkeling on a shallow wreck. Tomorrow, we clean her and do some of the chores on her we have found that need doing during the test runs. Nothing big so far, just some odds and ends.

Not planned: Emergency plumber here as I type.
The water heater failed yesterday. A family member just got home from surgery with follow up care that really benefits from hot water. Now I'm hoping the estimated labor is on target.

Wow so many of you look like you've had great weekends. We've had a busy one. Kids party yesterday...Shoo. Then popped in at the folks for coffee. This morning my wife taught at church and I watched the kids. Got to play a bit of guitar. Then went out to lunch, now just finishing off the worship of our 2nd evening service.
