GC has a 15% off sale going on. They also have 2017 Gibson Les Paul Tributes for $899, and Les Paul Faded for $719. Add in the 15% off and you can get a Tribute for around $750 and a Faded for around $615.
Those are killer prices for an American made Gibson Les Paul.,

If I lived in the US I think I'd pick up that Tribute LP. I've wanted the 2017 for over a year. When I inquired about buying one at Long & McQuade (Canada) back in May or June I would have had to lose a 10% deposit if I didn't like the guitar because it would have been a special order. It was $999 CAD or $1050, +15% tax, at the time.
I ended up buying a Standard so I'm happy.
