Default my recording of Hesitation Blues on soundcloud almost at 1000 listens! Thank you!

I find it truly amazing that almost 1000 of you kind people have taken the time to listen to my crappy recording of Hesitation Blues. Thank you all very, very much! It's something of a milestone for me, one that I thought I'd never reach.

Well, make that 1000 and something !
Just listened, cool, I like it, good laid-back pace, and I'm sure you'll relax into it more as you keep playing around with it. Make it swing, make it jump !
Saying that, it's great getting this far with the tune already. Reverend Gary Davis is a hard master to learn from, well done.

Default Cool version

Hesitation Blues is something I've had knocking around since I first heard Hot Tuna's version circa 1970:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjfhsLuOEWI

Your version is a lot more relaxed.

Going to spend some time seeing if I want to use some of that style.

Your version is very nice to listen to, really enjoyed hearing it.

It reminds me a little of this song, that also has a relaxed style to it.

I usually seem to fall into playing some Hesitation Blues almost daily, so will probably pick up some inspiration from your version.

Thanks for posting.

I'll check your recording out tonight. It's nice to see players, and listeners, keeping RGD's Piedmont Blues style alive.

A while ago I took lessons from Phil Heywood. Phil has recorded quite of bit of RGD stuff. He often goes from "Sally where'd you get your liquor from" right into "Hesitation Blues".

The reality is that I'm no RGD so keep your expectations low!
