try other Cdim7 voicings, too...
8x787x or xx7878 would be C dim7 but you can slide them by three frets worth....(a minor 3rd) 5x454x is still a Cdim7...it's still the notes C,Eb,Gb,Bbb or A....any of the notes could be called the root note, though... 2x121x is still a C dim 7....same notes... 11 x 10 11 10 x is still a Cdim7 etc.... they'll all connect up to different forms of Emin differently... look for Emin voicings surrounding Emin triads...especially if you're playing fingerstyle... 0x200x or 0xx000 0x545x or 0xx453 0x998x or 0xx987 0 x 14 12 12 x or 0 x x 12 12 12 same as first bunch....

just one other thing on that +6 naming....because Emin is involved....
you've got Emin popping up as a ii chord here...in the key of D if we were in the key of G (or Emin, the relative min) when you build a V7 chord for Emin you would use E harmonic minor E F# G A B C D# E F# G A B C B B D# B D# F# Bmajor B D# F# A B7 B D# F# A C B7b9 looking at the B7b9 chord there...the last four notes of it (D#, F#, A, C)make up a dim7 chord...that could be called D#dim7 or F#dim7 or Adim7 or Cdim7 with a renaming of sharps and flats accordingly... I wonder if somehow the notation of +6 in your example is to distinguish that use of Cdim7 from this one in the key of Emin (G major)... maybe someone else knows... ?????
