Default 50 - 60 degrees in Febuary

In Northeast Pa! It's a gift. It's a fluke. It's AGW. Who cares I'll take it. Got a few hundred miles on motorcycles over the weekend, and planning many more in the coming days. This is the first year that I can remember riding in every month of the winter. The bikes were not actually put away. Life is good.

Smoked a few racks of ribs yesterday and ate outside with the family. In February. In Chicago.

By the way, if you live in a place where it gets cold in the winter, ribs are dirt cheap in February.

Mother Nature's obviously confused, so I say enjoy it, because once she figures it out...(we have snow predicted for Saturday)

It's been 70-couple degrees in Richmond, VA for the past couple of days. Gotta love that global warming....

Last year in most of New England the entire peach crop was lost due to the extremely warm and unusual weather we had. Our six peach trees produced not one peach and I'm in fear now that it's going to happen again this year with this warm up. If it stays warm we'd be good but most likely the temps will drop again and freeze the buds after nauture's fooled the trees into starting.

On the other hand, it's a lot easier working with the steel tools in the garage at 50-60° than at 25°.

Here at my house in Middle Georgia, it is now 75 degrees. I just returned from a 3-mile walk on a dirt road I had discovered not too far from my house. I took along my Taylor Cotten 612c to entertain the squirrels, rabbits, cows, and deer. They all seemed appreciative except the 7 deer I saw. I'm guessing they prefer Opera. This is MY kind of winter!

We've had a mild winter here. 50-60 this past weekend, should last another day or two. No snow in my yard. The grill has been lit several times. Life is good.

Soon we'll be able to sit on the seashore in January and watch the water boil just in time for - tea?

Life here in South Carolina has been a blessing this February (so far). Highs in the upper 60's and low 70's during the day.....40-ish degrees at night. I keep waiting for the shoe to drop with about 4 inches of ice. Fingers crossed.
