Default Cubase pro 8 vs digital performer 8

Has anyone here tried those DAWS? Any preferences, and why?

Former cubase user (Atari Falcon all the way through Cubase 7 on mac) and now work exclusively in Logic... why not Logic, if I might ask? I know it's not your question so I apologize in advance for asking... Logic is an amazing package full of a lot of content for not much money.

The big benefit to Cubase is that it's cross platform and it allowed me to collaborate with windows using friends. I do actually like the UI slightly more than Logic.

Why not logic? Because I work on PC/windows, I also tried Logic during a few weeks on a friend's mac, but never managed to deal with the midi the way I wanted too, I believe I prefer cubase's workflow, and it's amazing possibilities (through I'm working with Cubase 5)

Cubase is more logical (pun unintended) when it comes to MIDI input. MIDI inputs work the same way as audio inputs... it just makes sense. Logic is much more of a PITA in that way.

Sorry I can't offer a more meaningful critique of cubase vs DP. Cubase is cool IMO.
