2 Earthworks QTC-30 Omnidirectional Mics (Matched Pair)
A matched pair of excellent small-diaphragm omnidirectional condenser microphones. Made in Milford, NH. Specs at EarthworksAudio.com, independent discussions at Gearslutz.com pro audio website. Highly regarded by engineers for recording acoustic stringed instruments.
I bought them new in 2004, set them up once to test them, and never used them again. Not once. They were purchased for a home studio that never got built. They are in their original wooden case with all paperwork, including a signed & dated "Microphone Calibration Chart," showing their frequency response as tested at the factory. A new matched pair like this costs $1699 online. Asking $1050 or trade + cash for a used National RM1 mandolin. Last edited by overthehill; 02-26-2018 at 03:34 PM. Reason: price reduced |
