Default Free elixir strings

seriously!

I got an email - they are giving away one free set per customer including free shipping to get you to try them

I ordered mine

no strings attached, from Elixir and the reputable seller "Strings and More"

Thanks for the heads-up. Just ordered a set for a Strat badly in need of a string change.

Love the Elixir electric strings! First introduced to them on my Taylor T-5 (11's w/ an unwound 3rd string), and have used them exclusively on my Gibson ES-345 for the past8 years or so...

I don't play my electrics all that much nowadays, not being in a group where electric guitar is warranted or needed, so it means a lot to me to have strings on that guitar that last and last and last, and stll sound great, feel great and intonate properly...

The set that's on my 345 now must be at least 7 years old, and are not showing signs of needing replacement anytime soon!

Thanks for the head's up!

Me too... I was a beta tester for several sets of Elixir electric strings. I found them to be decent, but my go-to electric strings were and continue to be Gibson Vintage Reissue Pure Nickel 10's. Very similar in many respects to the Elixirs.
