Default NGD Bamburg FSC!

Hi folks,
Well, NGD doesn't happen to much around here, but I'm happy to report on this wonderful Jeff Bamburg FSC which arrived here the other day via two extra days of shipping due to our most recent Nor'easter. Always tough to read the tracking for several days straight "confidently" saying, "enroute to the next destination"..........no details!!
My thanks to Bud, the seller, who also has another Bamburg for sale on AGF and also Jeff Bamburg himself for helping with important details of this beauty. And, let's just say, Bud knows his guitars and he picked wisely when this guitar originally came his way!
All the ingredients seemed to click with this guitar, the condition, beautiful woods (Carpathian/Macassar Ebony) and elegant design, the amazing and huge tone all wrapped up in a OM size 15" lower bout instrument. To get to the point of an offer, I must have read or viewed every write-up and video ever offered on Jeff and his guitars! That in itself was fun and very helpful. I'm sure this guitar will be with me for the duration......and if things work out might go to my grand daughter in the years to come.
Took a few of the obligatory "beauty shots" on my porch for you to view. Without those, it didn't happen, right?
Best regards,
Fred

Beautiful work.
Love that fine line of red detail on the rosette, headstock and binding.

Thanks so much, guys! Happy to share this newest addition. And, Michael, thanks for commenting and for the great demo videos with Jeff's guitars. They are stellar and really help to capture what's going on with these instruments through your marvelous playing and narrative.

Congrats, Fred! I was trying to make a sale so I could nab that one, & you beat me to it! Good play! I believe this is the first short scale to your line up, is it not? Congrats again!

Tony, Guitar and Steve.....thanks so much! Steve you and I have remarkably similar tastes!! LOL! So often when I'm "eyeing" something on AGF, there you are with thoughts comments......very cool!
Yes, this scale length is new, I'm usually in the range of 25.4, 25.7 as with the Vines. The Bamburg from my "research" has the ability to get down to lower tunings and so that helped make the choice. It's got a huge rich tone and is SO comfortable to play.
Thanks again for taking a look. All the best,
Fred

Congratulations, what a beautiful guitar!!! I think this is one of Jeff Bamburg's favourite wood combinations. He will build me an FSC in EIR-Cedar later this year, I can't wait to get started. As has been said, a stellar builder. Enjoy!
