Default a zany new GAS pursuit

So, I loved the feel of my Taylor solidbody (scale, neck, nut everything) but I didn't like the pickups and noisy pickguard.

I'd love to get my hands on a broken solidbody (the kind without the loaded pickguard).

Maybe something with the irreplaceable broken bridge debacle.

Then I could do major surgery, fill the hole and put a Gibson style bridge on it.

That would be a fun project.

Now I just gotta find a busted/cheap one to work on.....

You could also buy a cheap DIY guitar kit, then replace any/all of the electronics/hardware that comes with it for a unique one of a kind guitar that has exactly everything you want.
