Many years ago I traded in a Martin D41 custom with an Adirondack top for a Bourgeois Custom D with Mahogany and Adirondack and Varnish finish. I missed the Rosewood sound and later bought a D28 Marquis which was a nice guitar but I really wish I could play that D41 one more time to see if it was really as good as I remember it.

Two Taylor 12-strings. One was an 855 and the other was a custom spruce-Ovangkol jumbo 12-String. Think of a 455 but all gloss with an abalone rosette. They both sounded excellent and I really regret selling them and would take either back. But I sold them at a time when both GAS and money were plentiful.
