Dion Guitars Wenge/German Spruce
It's been a long couple of months moving shops and getting things just right, I've never had a shop set-up quite so nice! It's maybe stating the obvious to say that an organized shop with good flow allows one to work at the high level a guitar maker needs to. Here's a few picture of one of the builds I started this week.

Hey all, I've decide to double up the guitars on this thread. I'm currently building the aforementioned Weng/German guitar as well as an Espave/Sitka. Both are my No. 03 body shape. The Wenge/German is my standard guitar, while the Espave/Sitka will be my new Satellite option. The Satellite is my attempt to offer a guitar that looks, plays and sounds like my guitars do, but at a more accessible price point. I'll accomplish this mostly by the reduction in options. The Satellite will come with standard woods, a matte finish and won't come with a custom case. The reduced time consulting with the client and the ability to bulk make parts will allow me to offer the Satellite for about 35% less than my standard model. The only upgrade will be the finish. I just finished bracing both the German top and the Sitka. I'll do a little final testing and carving early next week and hopefully have the boxes closed by late week.

Is wenge a heavy or dense wood? I ask because I've only played one wenge guitar, it sounds great but is noticeably heavier than your typical EIR. Didn't know if that was the rule or the exception.
