Default Gibson Les Paul

Hi, for lack of a better forum in which to ask this, I'm going to try my luck here.

I'm looking to buy a Gibson Les Paul, does anyone know where would be the best place to get one? I'm looking at purchasing it online, as Im not in the states.

If youre in Europe thomann.com would be your best option. They are the biggest Gibson dealer in Europe.

Are you looking to get a Standard or a Studio? I have one of each and I love them.

MusiciansFriend ships internationally for some items. I believe they're the largest on-line dealer in the world.

Can I ask what country you're located in?

They have new and used guitars, they only show you the ones available for your country: Guitar Center
Or you can go on eBay, but it is more "risky"...

Actually I live in adelaide, But the prices in Australia are just too high... over 3.3k for the standard 08. Looking at getting one from Musicians Friend for about under 2.2... Just waiting for Thanksgiving now... and hoping the Aussie dollar pulls out of its nose dive....

But once you add tax, custom duty, transport I reckon the cost will be similar. There was a thread here a few months back about a bloke who ordered a guitar from the US to Adelaide and was staggered by all the fees he had to pay upon delivery of the guitar, from all side.
