Default NPUD Skysonic 3 way PU on Cedar / Mahogany

New Pickup Day ! Skysonic Pro1: mag+mic+transducer

I was already so happy with this guitar, Morris S-701 (Solid Cedar / Solid Mahogany /Laminated Mahogany Sides/ Solid Mahogany neck),
but this pickup is on par with the instrument.
At last some sound that really resembles what i hear acoustically when i play this great guitar!
Stereo jack out, so that the transducer can be EQ'ed separately.
Not affiliated anyhow with the maker, just a very happy user / installer who wants to share the enthusiasm!

And an opportunity to hear a bit of koto as well.

A little bump, because i think this PU really deserves it.

BTW, if you come across a Morris S- series, the S-92 and up are made in Japan, this S-701 is made in China but it is incredible, for half the price.
Supervised by a Japanese luthier, same design and (seemingly) same materials.
Only the sides are laminated, which is somehow a good point regarding humidity, and barely has an impact on the tone of the instrument.

44mm nut, beautiful mahogany neck, satin finish everywhere, and you can hear the hand rubbing on the top (well, not everybody likes this) so you don't have to have a beaten up top like Tommy Emmanuel to do shakashakashaka !

If you find one used, you are lucky.

Love my PRO-1! I struggled for years finding the right amplified sound.

Yep, me too.

It is a seemingly well kept secret in the USA, probably because it's made in China.
Here in Japan it is well known and sells good.

Nice playing, btw ! Asalato too ! ^ ^

How do you get such a nice sound outdoors on Georgia ??
No mike seems to be in the close neighborhood yet it sounds like close miked ...

Beautiful Lewis & Clark too ... Zoom H2 ?
