Very heavy downpours about an hour or so ago with the fun of lightening and thunder. We had some normal storms last night, They say the worse is yet to come. But, we are blessed and all is well.

Weather impacts our lives every day. Fortunately we're able to acclimate to most of it.

Extra amount of activity around the home place this morning. We got up and got ready for church and while looking around the living room, I noticed something not too nice. It seems our roof has started (maybe is continuing) to leak again. So, the old work clothes were secured, a climb into the attic and there she was; water coming in where she has leaked before. A quick climb onto the roof and placing a covering down in hopes that most if not all of the water will be left to run off the roof until it can be fixed properly. Still we are blessed

Yep Dru, weather does impact all of us in one way or the other.

You known, I don't like climbing on roofs. I have no problem climbing trees, fences, cliffs but I don't enjoy roofs.

Zonked is the feeling after a long day of roof repair. I hope you got it all under control

We drove to Columbus today where the storms were crazy. Thankfully we came home to absolute dry land.

All I can say is that I enjoyed the 3 years I lived in Columbus.

Back in the day when you lived in Columbus it could have been fun to draft you to come here to play guitar.

A young man came today to discuss a gig he will do for his sister's wedding. I enjoyabrother's crave to please his big sister on such an important day.

Columbus Ohio, great city. I was playing more electric than acoustic in those 3 years (early 2000s) and was busy with work too. If it were today, I'd make the McJam!

Finally got that investigative report completed today. I now have one more to type up, but it will wait until next week.

Good work, Tom. I'm sure you do an excellent job in your law enforcement related job.

Here to say that I attempt to prove everyone involved in any investigation is truthful and innocent of wrong doing. Most times though it turns out I prove wrong doings by gathering the facts.

Today, I just ran into another violation which now creates the need for another investigation and report. I enjoy the investigative part of the job.

I would find your job terribly difficult. I kind of live in a bubble that all people are good like you hope they are. I highly respect that you can stay uninvolved personally to find the facts.

Just want to say I'm thankful for people like yourself Tom, who have spent a career in law enforcement.
