Echizen guitars?
Has anyone played an Echizen guitar or know anything about them?

Hi Muse-ic, I had the pleasure of spending quite a bit of time with Ryohei Echizen as we were both learning from Sergei de Jonge at the same time. He is a very meticulous craftsman and the guitars I've played of his (I've tried a couple) have been quite impressive! His French polishing skills are also some of the best I've seen. Aside from all that he is a really nice guy. Are you considering one of his instruments? -Zach Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have played Ryohei Echizen's guitars twice at two different shows and they exhibited some of the highest quality craftsmanship. And the sound - especially the one I played at Memphis last year - was exceptional. I hope I get to play his guitars again.

Ryohei, as has been said above, is one of the finest craftspeople around! His guitars are as perfect as guitars can be.
