Amateur jazz trio recordings
My musician friends and I got together for a rehearsal and I brought along my Zoom H2 to record it. Lo and behold, I took our least crappy takes and releasing them for your listening pleasure (or whatever you want to call it).
We have a bad habit of rehearsing once every hundred years or so, so there are plenty of mistakes. But I think they're decent takes for a couple of lazy highschool kids. The songs include There is No Greater Love, Footprints, Relaxin' at Camarillo and There Will Never Be Another You. My friend is playing guitar and I'm playing bass on the first two, and vice versa on the latter two. Comments are appreciated, thanks! http://www.soundclick.com/bands/defa...?bandID=643801 EDIT: Link fixed Last edited by tehsuperfox; 07-30-2008 at 01:50 PM. |

Tasty stuff.
I remember when I was 17, I had the amp cranked to 11 on a scale of 1 to 10, trying to sound like ron asheton (sp) of the stooges...lol The kind of playing ability you're displaying will get you as many gigs as you can handle.... |

Thanks for the comments guys.
We have a gig tomorrow night but we're not exactly expecting to draw a big crowd, especially of people our age, heh. The three musicians you hear make up probably 95% of the jazz enthusiasts at our school. |
