Not that I'm looking to be censored, but this is some serious eye candy.

A '28 000-45 in that kind of condition is amazing. And what a voice? Really enjoyed that...thanks for posting!

I was going to buy this as the big sister to my 000 42 (what's 70 years), but I checked my bank account and I'm a few thousand short. Actually, I'm $75,000 short.

What a beautiful guitar. Every time someone posts a “I don’t get the allure of vintage guitars” thread, they should be required to watch this.

I get the allure...that's legit.
What they cost is another story.

When MandoBros opened in the mid-70's they had one exactly like it hanging on the wall, along with matching mid/late-20's 0-45 and 00-45 and a brand-new D-45...

$4K for the 000, $12K for the complete set...

Should've emptied my checking account and sprung for the whole kit-&-kaboodle back then...

They cost what people are willing to pay. I hope that such an awesome guitar ends up the hands of a player, not just a collector who will lock it away under glass, never to be touched again. But whoever buys it can do whatever they wish with it.

Remember this is an opinion forum, I thought it sounded dull and thunky. If it was affordable I wouldnt buy it unless the market was still high so I could resell it. It sounds like every other vintage Ive played. I get the alllure just not the sound.

Cool little guitar, but not on my wish list. I can appreciate the vintage thing, I just don't live there.

Well...to that end^^^

It looks like Amy Grant's annual "Gosh...what do I get my hubby Vince (Gill) for Christmas" problem is solved for another year *sigh*...{;-)

Such a lucky...lucky...man you are Vince!

That's a very nice guitar but I always thought Martins of this era were cheap and worthless - after all Jason Walton appeared in the Waltons with at least two Martins (Parlour and a Dread) and they were the poorest family in America.

Although they did own a mountain
