1966 Gibson J50
2300.00 - shipped and paypal. Or...2200.00 and you cover shipping.
Crack free no loose bracing You can see the finish crazing and a few marks over time, but everything is cosmetic. There are no structural issues. The bridge and old ADJ saddle have been replaced with a bone saddle as well as the nut with a bone nut. This things sounds so nice. It's got enough thump to it while doing what an old Gibson does well. The nut width is 1 11/16ths, but it doesn't feel that wide. The neck profile on these late 60s models are pretty thin. It took me some adjusting from playing fatter necks with 1 3/4 nut width. It does play smoothly, though. I found it, once I gave it time, to really excel with rhythmic strumming and flat picking. It comes with (I'm not sure if it's original, but possibly could be) a hardshell case. Pics: https://reverb.com/item/6842807-gibs...0-1966-natural |

These old Gibson's are sweet guitars and the thinner profile neck is an easy transition for most.

I own a 1955 Gibson J50. I wouldn't sell it, trade it, move it for anything. I just pumped some money into it to solve a bellying issue (much better now). Shoot, that guitar sounds amazing to me.
Good luck with the sale.
