Unless you are a dealer, the warranty would not carry over. It is only for the original purchaser, regardless of whether it was registered.

But this is one killer guitar; GLWTS!

I’ve already checked with Martin and the Guitar can be registered to the “new” owner.

I recently acquired a 000-30A. It cannot be overstated how cool this guitar is.

If you can deal with the larger nut, you will be in for a treat.

I have owned many hundreds of guitars from dozens of luthiers so it is rare to find a guitar that is really unique. But the tone of my 000-30A is unlike any other guitar I have ever played.

Also Alan is a straight shooter as most of you know.

Go ahead and buy it, you will not be sorry.

Yes, Rob this looks and sounds like no other Martin.
I’ve dropped the price to $6000.

Just to mention, the ability to keep the warranty is legit, and discussed on the Martin forum.

Someone will be very pleased with this.

Thank you for reiterating this fact.

Hey Alan,
You should probably post larger pictures... I can't quite see into the pores of the rosewood...

I'd love to check this one out but now is just not the time... so lets bump this beauty !!

Dan,
I am sorry for not reducing size.
Well, that could be construed as a full disclosure photo group.

I'm sure I'll get drawn over the coals for suggesting this, but - if you're really crazy over the guitar and the nut width is the only drawback - have you considered having the neck re-shaped rather than taking a beating on selling and shipping a guitar that you otherwise love? Just a thought........

I tried this model at the NAMM show this past January...easily the best sounding guitar I heard at the show. Unbelievably light, loud, and with balanced tone, it compares very favorably with 30's Martins I have played. I have a 000-28 Norman Blake with a 1-13/16 nut, so the neck width would be no problem for me, but I have guitars coming out of my ears...otherwise I would be all over this. Alan, we have to meet each other one of these days...I think we would have a lot in common. My name is Mark Tamashiro...one of the owners of Coconut Grove Music.

The last thing to do is to carve it up. The value goes out the door the moment it’s altered.

I’d rather find another guitar.

Hey, another local boy.
Your description is right on.

Mark i’ve been in your store. Yes, we’ll talk guitars. We may have met before.

Wink ...

Alan, honestly a 2017 Martin copy seems beneath your collection. Or at least the ones we see here, that are on your way out. Please tell us about the Kinnaird OM42 you have listed in your signature. Do you have it listed here or elsewhere?
