Glad you/they had the good sense to call it off. I was having knee replacement surgery, and two days before surgery, they suddenly realized I had a titanium rod in my femur, which would have prohibited them from doing the surgery in its planned form. Long story, but it was robotic placement and used the femur as the anchor, so they had to scrub the surgery, order in a custom knee implant, and do the procedure a month later. Crazy that little detail was almost missed!
