Tube amps are way overrated, but I got a few just in case you're right! There's a 1970 full Marshall stack off to the right.

I love my Victoria Regal II. Class A Amp. You can swap out power tubes in any combination and get almost any sound you can imagine. Tubes rule. I've got modeling amps and they don't compare.

Is one of those mods 60 lbs of ballast? I ran across one in the used section of GC one day - would have sworn it was bolted to the floor.

I've built a few classic tube amps, and love the heck out of them. There's almost a tactile feedback when running straight in, with just your fingers and volume controlling the distortion.

Here's an old snapshot that shows me with some tube amps. It was a friend's collection. The Premier was mine. How many of the amps on the wall can you name?

Hard for me to judge sizes accurately there, but looks like a couple of TV front and regular tweed Champs, Deluxes, and maybe a Pro. Think I might see a Bassman, and maybe a Twin too. Some brown amps, probably another Deluxe. Looks like a blond and a brown Concert amp in there as well.
