Default Kraut OM BRW (photos, recordings)

First of all, my sincere thanks to everyone who has followed and posted in the original build thread (http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...d.php?t=248567). The guitar is in top shape and after nearly a year I still play it daily.

In the summer time, I usually place a cloth on the guitar while I play -- not to improve the sound but to protect the nitro finish.

As a sequel, I thought I'd start a new thread to share pictures and recordings with everyone here on the AGF.

I'll initiate this new thread with two recent pictures that I was particularly happy with. More recordings to come.

Hope you're all having a great weekend.

The guitar is the epitome of elegance, Mau, and the music you play on it is ravishing. I think it was a month or so ago, I looked at the latest entry in the previous thread, with links to a couple of your recordings. I was instantly hooked on the sounds I was hearing. Now I look for new video/ recordings of your music as a regular part of my routine. Thanks for keeping me inspired as I work the days away in my shop.

One thing I can say-- I've always been drawn to guitar players who use dynamics, and a "conversational" sense of time, as opposed to rigid, exact meter. Soloists have this freedom of expression that you don't often find in ensemble music. Some people I really admire for their expressiveness are Martin Simpson and Pierre Bensusan. I also see this rare quality in abundance in your playing. It's so lyrical, and so emotionally evocative.
Looking forward to more, and more...

Thanks so much for being part of the journey, guys. As much as I like to play my guitars, I was always into their looks first and foremost. I have bought more than my share of guitars based on looks alone...

Here's a couple of photos from the same series as the first B&W shot:

Nice stuff! I like how the hard lighting brings out the chatoyance in the silk on the top in that last shot.
